Adult & Further Education Night Classes

Night classes are self-financed courses which take place in our 5 second level schools throughout South Tipperary and our Youthreach Centre.

Who can take part in Night Classes?
Usually participants must be aged 18 and over.

What types of courses are available?
A wide variety of hobby and leisure style courses are offered, e.g. Computers, Art, Spanish, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Welding, etc.

Hobby and leisure style courses are offered in the Autumn and Spring Terms and generally run one night per week over an 8 to 10 week period. Terms begin in October and February with enrolments in September and January.

Certificate courses e.g. IMI Certificate in Supervisory Management, IATI Accounting Technician are generally of one or two year duration and are held on 1 or 2 evenings per week commencing in September and ending in April/May.

Are there fees?
Yes, fees apply to all night classes. There is no funding available.

Are there reductions in fees for special circumstances?
No.

Will I be paid while attending a night class?
No.
