In the context of the White Paper on Adult Education "Learning for Life", South Tipperary VEC offers a wide range of education and training opportunities and support for adults, of all ages, in the county. The programme is constantly updated to meet the changing needs of the administrative area.

The further education programme of South Tipperary VEC is organised and co-ordinated by the Adult Education Officer (AEO), Eileen Condon. The AEO is supported by the Adult Education Board comprised of representatives of FÁS, Teagasc, Foróige, TUI, ASTI, INTO, County Library Service, ICA, Business and Clergy.

The Adult Education mission statement is "to offer friendly experiences of lifelong learning to adults of all ages".
